A New Logo and Some New Sites!

Very excited to have a new logo for my music created by the talented Jess Starwood of Starwood Arts!

Originally I wanted another logo for Daydreams and Chocolate, but upon further reflection I realized I didn’t want this site to be something I invest $ into.  While my music is getting semi-serious, I want to keep D&C as a fun place where I can still post my derpy little comics and fan fictions. (Ok, so actually I take my fan fiction super seriously, but you know what I mean. :p)  I love this blog, but I love it precisely because it’s so casual, and I sort of need it to stay that way.

But! You can still visit my serious music sites and see my logo in use!

There’s no one site that can do everything I need right now, so I’m in the midst of figuring out how to publicize myself on both of them without being redundant.  Here’s what I’ve got so far…

• Get updates on performances and the EP at ReverbNation 
• Listen to new covers on Youtube
• Or follow me on Facebook and Twitter, where I’ll keep you posted on both covers and performances!

Of course, you can always continue to follow my music here as long as you don’t mind the intermittent derpy comics and posts about chocolate. And the lack of a logo. 😉

“Let It Go” Cover

I covered “Let It Go” in honor of the new Frozen short — and because I clearly don’t have enough Frozen-themed things on here! :p

There exists an alternate video which I filmed in the snow last month, but I decided I like this one better. Someday, once I learn how to use video editing software, I’ll splice them together. Til then enjoy!

March Performance Dates

March is a busy month – I’ve already committed to 3 open mics! Tomorrow night I will be playing the featured set, which means you’ll hear 6 songs instead of the usual 2-3. Come on by if you’re in the area!

Tues, 3/3 @ 9 pm – Bloomfield Bridge Tavern’s Open Mic Night
Mon, 3/16 @ 7 pm – CCAC North Campus Open Stage Night
Fri, 3/27 – Cattivo’s Open Mic Night (details pending)
